Sheila Coffee & Food cafe

This would have to be one of the best hidden gems in Melbourne. I get my dog groomed at Wolfman.ground who are the best groomer around. I then thought I’d try this cafe for lunch and coffee. I am absolutely blown away by the service, food and atmosphere. I’m literally sitting outside in the sun with the most delicious Eggs Benny with pork shoulder. I have eggs Benny everywhere and this is one of the best I have ever had. Eggs cooked to perfection nice and runny and the pork shoulder was delicious. Combine that with Hollandaise sauce and omg. The service was just polite and happy and helpful. The amazing lady even came out and apologised I had to wait a little longer for my meal as they wanted to whip up some fresh Hollandaise. I mean come on. No cafe anywhere in Melbourne ever does this. I will be back and I’ll be telling everyone about this place. They care about their customers and have such great food. Also the coffee was spot on and up there with anything around Melbourne. You can tell they have huge attention to detail and put their heart and soul into their cafe. Thankyou so much for such an out of the box cafe experience. It was so unexpected but truly appreciated.

It was our first time visiting this café, and we really enjoyed it. The coffee was very good, and we loved the carrot cake and peanut butter brownies – both were delicious and fresh. The staff were kind and welcoming, and the café itself was clean and cozy. We’ll definitely be back!

What a surprise to find such good quality breakfast in this little lost corner of Burwood! Meal was excellent best Avo on toast I have ever had!!! And so much dedication from the chef and owner!! Highly recommend

I recently moved to the area and have been on the hunt for a great local coffee spot. I'm so glad I found Sheila Coffee & Food—it has quickly become my new favorite. The staff is always incredibly welcoming and friendly, making every visit a pleasure. The food is also fantastic, with a great selection of tasty options. But the real star of the show is the coffee. It's truly amazing, and hands down some of the best I've had. If you're in the neighborhood, you have to try it!

Nice cafe with great coffee and service. I didn’t get to try their brunch dishes, the GF cheesecake is lovely. It’s right next to a large free parking lot (3P), lots of parking.

A beautiful little café! I stopped by for a late lunch and had a sausage roll and a chai latte to takeaway. The sausage roll was not your average kind—homemade, with real, flavorful meat that you can actually taste. I really enjoyed it. The chai latte was great too, perfectly spiced and comforting. The lady behind the counter was warm and friendly, which made the whole experience even better. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more from their menu!
